All Sports 4 Kids

Healthy Lifestyle is now included as part of Ofsted reporting criteria along with government targets for sport in schools. Soccer 4 Kids is looking to work IN PARTNERSHIP with Primary Schools to help them achieve these targets.

We will work with you to provide the required number of hours Extra Curricular Sport to your pupils through our very popular breakfast, lunchtime and after school clubs. We can also provide professional coaches to help you with staffing problems with regards the 10% PPA time for teachers.

We can provide a variety of coaching solutions, which will easily integrate into your existing school schedule. We provide sessions for Key Stage 1 and 2 children and although we are football specialists we can provide coaching in other sports such as basketball, rugby, cricket, hockey and athletics.

CURRICULUM PROGRAMME - PPA SOLUTIONS

If you need to release teachers from contact time with pupils, or just wish to provide pupils with professional, expert PE lessons look no further than our curriculum programme.

This has been created in line with national curriculum requirements and includes modules such as spatial awareness and invasion games. We can provide one or more coaches depending on how many children we are working with and can adapt the coaching to include specific material as requested by teachers

Sessions will naturally be age appropriate and will follow a programme of development starting with individual technique and skill work and gradually progressing to teamwork and tactical understanding. As a company we do not believe in lines of children waiting for their turn so provide one ball each whenever we can to encourage maximum participation which speeds up the learning process and makes lesson time more enjoyable.

An hour long curriculum session would follow the structure below:

Introduction:
A brief talk on what the session is setting out to achieve and why the topic is relevant to football and other sports.

Warm Up:
10 minutes of movement games including dynamic stretching with or without a ball, which will prepare pupils for the rest of the session and will help them understand how the body works and the importance of being prepared for physical activity.

Speed Agility Quickness:
10 minutes of co-ordinated movement activities to encourage children to jog, run and jump in the correct manner. This will aid general body posture when moving but will also allow them to develop stronger, more agile and quicker muscle groups and learn the names of body parts and muscles and how they function.

Game-Based Activities:
35 minutes of games and exercises with a ball which will improve individual ability and confidence and teach children about the importance of concentration, communication, good practice and teamwork in order to achieve personal and team success.

Debrief:
A quick question and answer summary of what was taught in the session to gauge the understanding of pupils and the effectiveness of the session. Further tips on self practice and improvement will also be provided.

Numeracy & Literacy Skills:
As well as the educational coaching we can also provide sessions which aim to test and develop academic skills in an informal environment. During sessions where teams are playing in games or small sided matches, pupils who are not playing can complete worksheets which have been created to develop mathematical and writing ability.

Sessions can include pupils recording the number of successful and unsuccessful shots, passes or tackles made by a team and then at the end work out totals, fractions, percentages, means and medians. Another example is pupils making notes during a small sided match or game and then creating a match report by the end of the lesson. These lessons will be delivered by our fully qualified and trained staff and any work created in lessons can also be marked by our coaches or left to teachers to mark and provide feedback on.

If you are interested in our schools service and want to know more then please contact us and we will be pleased to set up a meeting to discuss your requirements.

EXTRA CURRICULUM ACTIVITIES

BREAKFAST CLUBS

We will provide an early morning club which will help your children start the day the right way! Physical activity at the start of the day has been scientifically proven to release positive chemicals that aid concentration levels during lessons. Breakfast clubs can cater for all ages and can take place indoors or outdoors - dependent on weather.

LUNCHTIME CLUBS

Lunchtime sessions can be tailored to offer advanced, professional training for the school team or simply to keep pupils entertained and stimulated with structured play, which makes life easier for teachers and school assistants.

AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS

Our reputation for quality and reliability has been established through our extensive network of after school clubs. We take full responsibility for the clubs from providing letters for distribution through to ensuring every child has been collected at the end of each session. Sessions take place weekly over a term and teach pupils the skills of football whilst improving co-ordination, agility, fitness, teamwork and confidence.

SCHOOL TEAM TRAINING

Competitive success for school sport teams can have a positive effect on morale in school and can inspire other pupils. We can provide your school football squad with professional coaching which will improve their individual and team skills. Sessions can be organised on an ad-hoc basis or we can take responsibility for the team for the duration of the season.

DEVELOPMENT DAYS

We know there are a few days each year where teachers undergo training and pupils are given the day off. Why not make this a healthy living day and provide a full day of fun, professionally structured games and activities?

We will provide full management of the day from promotional letters through to complete responsibility for the children. All we need is access to the field/playground and toilets and we do the rest. Parents are asked to pay a small amount for the day, so it won't cost the school a penny but will actively promote physical activity and keep children off the streets.
